ABSTRACT
This chapter is dedicated mainly to pancreatic endocrine surgery, but such narrow text cannot offer comprehensive education. Overviews of embryology, anatomy, physiology, clinical and biochemical assays, conventional and molecular isotopic imaging, correlation of risks and benefits of surgery, and prognostic profile are indispensable in any textbook [1].
