ABSTRACT
Disruption is breaking the incumbent model. This handbook outlines tools for identifying and breaking the incumbent model. Incumbent models exist everywhere within the profession: from the design schools that continue to churn out graduates into a workforce with no jobs, to firms practicing within a stratified Arch2.0 hierarchy, to the way we do our work – from designing, to drafting contracts, to completing construction documents, to final project finish and turnover.
