ABSTRACT
Fibre building boards may be used for stud partitions, wall linings and ceilings. Framing battens for wall linings should be at least 38mm wide, and partition studs at least 50mm wide. Boards should be securely fixed to supports in the middle as well as at the edges, noggings provided as required, and at not more than 1200mm c/c. Studs should be spaced according to the width and type of board being used.
