ABSTRACT
The previous chapter outlined the initial steps to be taken in developing a PPP – these
steps will be common to all types of partnership, although the time frame will vary
according to the nature of the partnership. As a result of these steps there should be a
steering group of some sort, chaired by an individual acceptable to all the potential
partners, and led by a partnership champion (or project manager) working with the
chair. This group of stakeholders has the task of turning the initial ideas into reality.
