ABSTRACT

I believe that everyone – the people who use space as well as city planners – is aware of the profound malaise to be found in the “meaning” and “form” of the city in this particular historical moment. It is increasingly evident that for architects and city planners the approach to the project has become a long, complex and contradictory process and that it is increasingly difficult for those who work in this sphere to contribute to the creation of spaces in a clear and qualitatively relevant way: especially in the current “anonymous” mode of production.
