Imagine a space of immersion into living memory – the telling of stories unaffected by historical ideals, a realm of pure recollections. This is Maurice Halbwachs’ notion of the ‘collective memory’, the organic knowledge of the past. 1 The Estonian Exhibition Experience is an interactive installation, a rich sensorium of audio and visual projections inside a dark cube, momentarily transporting you beyond the whitewashed walls of the museum.
