ABSTRACT
The nanoparticles are new age scientific products produced by the uniqueness and creative mind of the human kind. These nanoparticles are involved each and every step of the human population’s life. Therefore, it is required to understand the synthesis procedures involved in it. The commonly used methods for the synthesis of nanoparticles are the chemical, physical and biological methods. In these, the biological method for the production of nanoparticles has gained a significant interest from the science people due to their nonhazardous and environmentally friendly pre- and post-requisites. This chapter gives a detailed information about the plant-based synthesis of nanoparticles.
