In this chapter, Jason Steadman and Michael Feeney bridge the ages-old divide between mind and body through the lens of biofeedback and take us on a firsthand tour of the many applications of this technology in a variety of settings, with a range of clients and with particular attention to pediatric patients struggling with a host of medically related challenges. Starting from the premise that ‘old-fashioned’ play, defined as any play that is not digital, can be expanded to incorporate modern digital play, specifically in the form of biofeedback.
