ABSTRACT
The rapid technological development in the latter half of the twentieth century required the development of specialty polymers for various applications. Consequently, a large number of organic polymers have been developed to meet material demands, either via synthesizing novel monomeric molecules or by varying existing polymerization techniques. The search for novel polymers also led to the development of a wide range of inorganic and organometallic polymers with versatile properties.
