ABSTRACT

One pharmaceutical company has produced approximately 500 liters of Bacillus subtilis RB14 culture, in which the cell concentration was between 1010 and 1011 cells/ml. The company guarantees this high concentration of B. subtilis for use in fruit gardens. Details for the medium composition and operational conditions to produce the bacterial culture at a reasonable price are not available mainly because the methods and original technique are proprietary information for the company. The bacterial culture was purchased and stored in a large chilled facility until use in the fruit garden.
