ABSTRACT
Silliness is defined here as behaviour that has no obvious purpose except to attract attention. It can include inappropriate remarks, wisecracks or slapstick. The student will need to learn positive behaviours that result in the desired attention. It is likely that any strategy will increase the unwanted behaviours in the short term. Keeping firmly to only paying attention to the positive will eventually work. Stay strong!
