Figure 10.1 illustrates the relationship between the project management stages and the organization design phases.
You may know the stages by different labels as different project management bodies use different words. (For example, the Project Management Institute describes the stages as ‘processes’ and labels them initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing.) Getting the right label is less important than doing the right thing within each stage to achieve your objectives.
