ABSTRACT

A term used to describe some of the most-able students within our lessons in education is ‘Gifted and Talented’. This chapter aims to define what this term means, and outline practical ways these particular students can be catered for within our teaching. Before methods of support are explored, guidance and suggestions to aid the reader with recognising and identifying their most-able students have been included. Practical advice to support these students has been split into two sections; Within and outside of lessons. All of these methods are accompanied with examples.
