Comic Life is a template-based application combining photographs and text. The Comic Life application contains a series of templates which provide children with easy access to creating their own comics by combining photographs and text. As a paid app and one that is only available on iOS devices, it may currently have limited use in the classroom. However, there is a Lite version available in the form of Comic Strip. Presenting information in a series of comic strips either in a History lesson or when writing a story in English has been a popular strategy taken by many primary teachers. Comics are a great way of displaying time sequences and are a useful way of capturing historical events in a succinct and engaging way. The finished comic can be shared by pressing the spanner icon and selecting the Share and Print option.
