This paper gives a general summary about Chinese RCC dams. An extensive of research works has been conducted since 1986. In the design and construction of RCC dams some achievements were used not only in China, but also abroad. In the context of Great Development for Western China and Transfer of Electricity from West to East China, more RCC dams will be developed in the near future.
