ABSTRACT
Danlee Mitchell has been the musician closest to Partch. As his primary assistant for many years until his death, and as the principle inheritor of the Partch tradition, he has kept the ideas alive through performance of the music and the teaching of its theoretical basis. David Dunn is an experimental composer and philosopher who was an associate of Partch and performer of his works.
