ABSTRACT

Description: Replagal is a recombinant human α-galactosidase A, a lysosomal hydrolase. The enzyme is a glycosylated homodimer, with each 50-kDa, 398-amino acid subunit containing three N-linked oligosaccharides. It is produced in a continuous human cell line by recombinant DNA technology, and it is supplied as a concentrated solution (1 mg/ml) for intravenous infusion over 40 minutes.
