ABSTRACT
Working as a broadcast journalist in sport should be no different to working as a news journalist. The same principles apply: the commitment to accuracy and balance; the need to tell stories clearly and succinctly; and the importance of making reliable contacts. But in practice there are noticeable differences – not all of them desirable.
