ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT:   Norbulingka is one of the centers of politics, religion and culture in Tibet. Only in Norbulingka, a perfect combination of architectural art, religious art and garden art can be seen. Garden art is the detailed embodiment of people’s life. This paper, through the analysis of garden art of Norbulingka, explores the world outlook, philosophy of life and values of the Tibetan. In the meanwhile, the research on the common features between Tibetan garden art and traditional Hans garden art reflects the two nationalities have many similarities when they are dealing with the relationship between man and nature.
