ABSTRACT
Throughout this work we have dealt with (1) the preparation of rigid PVC dry blends, mainly the equipment, the process, the resin, and the dry blend properties; (2) the various melt-processing techniques used to pelletize these dry blends; and (3) the rheological properties of typical rigid PVC compounds and how these properties affect the melt-processing characteristics of these compounds.
