ABSTRACT
This chapter includes three essays focused on government programs and actions in the fields of climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction.
The first essay examines ongoing federal, state, and local government programs designed to address climate change and provides background information concerning what government agencies across the country are doing relative to climate change adaptation.
