ABSTRACT

This chapter explores the ways in which occupational scientists and occupational therapists are partners in preventing juvenile suspension and detention, as well as promoting optimal outcomes within juvenile justice systems. Occupational perspectives of health and practice, occupational therapy processes, interventions, and case examples are described.
