ABSTRACT
Insulation:- Asbestos-cement sheets alone have little thermal insulation value. One method of insulating the roof is to provide a lining of insulation board, wood wool slabs etc beneath the roof covering either under or over the purlins. Fig 1 shows the insulation fixed below the purlins, in this case being supported on small aluminium angles bolted to the roof truss.
