ABSTRACT

In the postmodern society, contexts governed by the nanotechnological industry of the multidimensional models of knowledge transfer from the academic/university environment to the entrepreneurship space are analyzed by exploring the hypothesis and actions of the so-called the scientific entrepreneurship. The science (fundamental) is open to the applicative domain by co-participation with extra knowledge to produce the extra value, in the network organizations, especially by clusters or scientific and industrial parks. The analysis of the scientific entrepreneur-ship with the 2D matrix method reveals four models of action for the associated management (including the nonaction). At their turn, they are retrieved as a particular case for the eight management 3D strategies for the scientific entrepreneurship. The correspondence obtained of the research–development–innovation cube with the inclusive one is expanded on the competitive, sustainable, and regenerative cubic directions while putting in act the postmodern principle of “the corner that becomes the center.” The present study and analysis are circumscribed of the sacred versus profane dualism debate for science versus technology. The possible solution seems to be in the competitiveness dual cube (double cube, cube-in-cube), which can finally become a strategic diamond of knowledge exploration (applicative technology) intermediated by the strategic management of 3D information transfer in the new knowledge-based economy/society.
