ABSTRACT

Sexual expression is a healthy part of the human experience and an important way to feel connected and affirmed, at any age. This chapter begins by explaining that discussing sexual orientation is not the same thing as discussing sexual activity. After making this distinction the chapter discusses how to support all people, including those engaging in same-sex or non-traditional sexual relationships, in their right to sexual expression while also respecting your staff’s right to be free from mistreatment and sexual harassment.
