ABSTRACT
The post-buckling behaviour of an I-shaped laminated graphite/epoxy column was investigated using shadow moiré interferometry [1]. The purpose of the experiment was to verify a theoretical model [2] and to obtain experimental insight into the post-buckling behaviour of such structures. The out-of-plane deflections of both the web and the flange were measured as a function of load.
