Shoah Consciousness and the Silence of American Christian Biblical Scholarship

I have found in my conversations with American Jews that the Shoah is something about which many of them, if not all of them, are continually aware. Many American Jews born after World War II spent hours watching movies on the Shoah as part of their religious school tra ining, and thus the Shoah has become a central part of their self-understanding as Jews.
