ABSTRACT
The summary of two-constant model of the elastic subsoil is offered. The model allows to reduce a problem of definition the stress-strain state of ground bulk with sufficient for practical purposes accuracy to a task of definition the settlements of ground surface. The example of calculation the constructions of strengthening a building in St. Petersburg with use of the offered model is presented.
