ABSTRACT
In this chapter a simulation model will be developed on the basis of the theoretical discussion in Chapter 2. To this end all local mechanisms that have been identified in Section 2.4.1 as potential causes for the existence of localised industrial clusters will be included in the simulations. The resulting simulation model can be used to analyse the dynamic characteristics of local processes and the factors that influence these processes.
