ABSTRACT
Social media has come to permeate almost every aspect of both our online and real-world experiences. The first listservs like CompuServe enabled the evolution of social media to multi-modal platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat. Video has fast become the post of choice on social media, and augmented reality features have become commonplace. How we interact with one another, celebrities, and brands has been indelibly changed by the complete integration of social media into our lives.
