ABSTRACT
In the case of the special systems of equations treated in Chapter 2, namely the regular systems, we saw that there was always just one solution, irrespective of the value of the right-hand side. In the general case this need not be so: whether there is a solution at all depends generally on the value of the right-hand side, and when there is a solution it need not be the only one.
