Using System Dynamics Modeling to Understand the Impact of Social Change Initiatives

Action-oriented social scientists often seek to bring about social change, but anticipating the effects of proposed social changes is also important. We introduce system dynamics modeling as a strategy for examining the consequences of social change, focusing on the particular case of educational reform.
