ABSTRACT
There are so many conferences dedicated to education that one could attend two per week if he/she was inclined to do so. Some conferences require one to submit an unpublished paper when applying to speak. This paper is then peer reviewed and is often automatically published in the conference proceedings if he is accepted as a speaker. Many conferences use volunteers to "peer review" presentation applications and determine who gets to speak. Around the time the conference is announced, the conference website or emails will call for people to apply to volunteer. Volunteers are often in short supply, whereas it is desirable to have many volunteers. A good research poster grabs viewers from 10 feet away and draws them in to learn more about one's study. The sections are similar to that of a dissertation: one's information, abstract, introduction, purpose and hypotheses, methods, results with visualized data, conclusion, and references.
