ABSTRACT
In this chapter the topic of higher order impedance boundary conditions for planar coatings will be discussed in terms of a general spectral domain a p proach. Existing boundary condition methods such as the Standard Impedance Boundary Conditions (SIBC), Tensor Impedance Boundary Conditions (TIBC), and the Generalized Impedance Boundary Conditions (GIBC) are shown to be included in the theory as special cases.
