The article defines ways of interaction between the state and civil society institutions in accordance with the basic principles of interaction between the state and society. Examples of conditionally active interaction of the state with the institutes of civil society in Russia are presented and characterized. These examples are common throughout the state; their role in the process of informing society about the activities of the state is significant. However, the organization of feedback should be worked out in a qualitative way, so that the acts of interaction have a real, rather than a formal character.
