ABSTRACT

This chapter embeds a visual investigation in a vehicle and travels to infrastructural hubs, in order to approach questions of functionality, aesthetics, and lived experiences of Pan-European mobility patterns. The research is conducted in locations along a north–south axis from Estonia, through Austria to Bulgaria and Turkey. In a combination of visual mapping, sculptural public interventions, and academic and artistic workshops, the practice uncovers the lived experiences and large-scale systems that unfold along the corridors of Europe.
