ABSTRACT
Tanks are well-known structures in industrial projects. There are different types of storage tanks used for different purposes in industrial projects. The dimensions of the tank and its material depend on the fluid that will be stored in it. Tanks for oil storage usually have a steel structure for their shell and reinforced concrete ring beams that transfer the load to the soil. Some applications use a reinforced concrete tank for storage of salt water, which will be treated and used in the water flood system traditionally used in some process plants.
