ABSTRACT
The main problem with references is that neither publishers nor journal editors have yet agreed on a uniform style for citing or listing them. Happily, computer programs exist that can reduce the chore of making references match the idiosyncratic requirements of publishers and editors. This chapter describes how to store bibliographic information with or without such a program, and how to prepare references for a particular paper.
