Private Enterprises, and the Growth of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises

This chapter takes the development of private enterprise in China as its main subject, while also looking at the development of small and medium-sized enterprises. The two issues are closely interrelated in China, since most small and medium-sized enterprises are now private enterprises.
