ABSTRACT
Western State University (Western) is a suburban institution with 30,000 enrolled students. In 1895 Western was established as a normal school, training teachers in curriculum development, pedagogy, and finishing. To present day, the teacher education program is highly rated regionally and nationally. In the 1990s, technical fields supporting education flourished at Western resulting in marked increases in faculty and student talent for progressive majors including entrepreneurial business, computer science, assistive technologies, creative arts, and architecture. Western's Student Activities oversees and provides support for more than 250 student clubs and 12 Greek letter organizations. Each club is required to have minimal standards for executive positions and leadership succession processes that are maintained by Student Activities. With permission from Jeremy, the Office of Disability Services verifies that Jeremy is registered, and that he receives academic classroom accommodations. The Western Police Department determined they could not ignore physical assault on their officer and the damage to the wall, and supplied a criminal report.
