ABSTRACT

Twenty-first century has seen an intensified trend toward online education. Ranging from primary classes to professional courses, technology has deeply embedded itself through various modes. While many research studies observe that the online education system is superior to that of its traditional counterpart, a few also conclude that there is not much difference between the two in terms of efficiency. The current study tries to focus on the role of technology in the mode of examination. Most of the competitive exams have shifted from traditional optical mark reader sheet filling to computer-based technology. This study has analyzed the students’ perspective toward both the modes of examination. A comparison has been made between the two through a questionnaire.
