ABSTRACT

Japan has over 10,000 road tunnels. There is something which consists of inspection A and B in Tunnel lining inspection system. Inspection A is carried out the desktop inspection system which extracts the priority inspection area through the desktop study of the photographing record by the lining inspection image photographing system. Based on the results of Inspection A, the detailed inspection with the proximity visual inspection is carried out by engineers (Inspection B). We compare the scored of both inspections, we found the gap in it. One of the reasons is the temperature of inspection.

In this paper, we compare the change of the width of the cracks records existing on the tunnel lining of both inspection by the temperature of the inspection. As the results, it was found that there was possibility of the change in crack width due to the material deterioration and other than change in temperature.
