ABSTRACT

The orthodontic effects on equine teeth vary in severity and in presentation. Common characteristics include the effects of mastication forces on teeth and the effects of abnormally long teeth on each other. It is helpful to understand the developmental nature of teeth and specific malocclusions in order to address their improvement or correction appropriately.
