ABSTRACT
As the first chapter of this report has already related, students of national bias isolate certain clearly recognizable forms of prejudice. These types guided the Committee in its analysis of the books used in the two nations. They can now be employed to suggest the degree and variety of bias encountered in today’s most widely used schoolbooks.
