ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT: The present study investigates teacher efficacy in applying instructional strategies among tertiary teachers in Indonesia. The participants were seventy-nine teachers from seven universities in Central Java Indonesia. This study used descriptive design using a quantitative analysis. Questionnaire was used to elicit the data of the study. Descriptive statistics, T-test and ANOVA were applied to analyze the quantitative data of the study. It was found that teacher efficacy in instructional strategies among tertiary teachers based on gender, age, teaching experience, educational background, and teacher’s place of work or institution is different based on the results of descriptive statistics analysis. However, those differences were not significant based on the results of T-test and ANOVA with the exception of differences in ages. Its significant was sig = 0.018 based on ANOVA (F = 3.569) statistical analysis.
