ABSTRACT
This chapter outlines the uses of the Hermann Brain Dominance Instrument (HBDI). This is useful to combine with BART psychotherapy to monitor those quadrants that need to be targeted for improvement. The HBDI can also be used to analyse, strategise, organise, and personalise the information for each patient or client. Strategies appropriate to each quadrant of the Herrmann brain dominance instrument are outlined. The theory suggests that strengthening the weaker quadrants will improve overall creative potential. Strategies appropriate to each quadrant of the Herrmann brain dominance instrument are outlined. Knowledge of this can be combined with BART psychotherapy for the authors's clients seeking to optimise their performance in school, university, work, or sport settings. The HBDI can also be used to analyse, strategise, organise, and personalise the information for each patient or client. The twelve brain functions that have key associations with different Brodmann (2006) functional brain areas are also listed.
