ABSTRACT

This chapter reviews recent advances in theory and experiments on graphene-based terahertz (THz) devices. The groundbreaking discovery of graphene [1-3] has stimulated the study on graphene-based THz-active devices [4-10]. Electrons and holes in graphene behave as relativistic charged particles of massless Dirac fermions holding enormously ultrafast transport properties, which can break through the speed and frequency limit on conventional electronic and optoelectronic devices like
