ABSTRACT
A Social Dreaming Matrix with two sessions (Matrix 1 and Matrix 2) was convened at the Working Men's College, Camden Town, London, in July 2009. The working hypothesis employed was that whatever the conscious, historical and rational reasons for financial institutions, the resulting contemporary financial crisis is occurring because banks and related institutions have been blinded to the demands of their original purpose because of their unconscious thinking and ideology, which borders on delusion.
