ABSTRACT
The presiding inspiration for the RRM is the psychoanalyst Thomas Ogden. The core of the chapter is a detailed account of a specific illustration of Ogden’s method of working with clients, using his Bion-derived ‘relational reverie’ technique. The chapter goes on to show the ways in which this Ogdonian method may be transposed into the research setting, forming the basis of the RRM.
