ABSTRACT
(p. 205) The phrase ‘transfer of debt’ is derived from the process of transferring a debt or responsibility, that is, referring a person who owes a debt to another who owes this person a debt. Transfers of debt are valid in accordance with the Sunnah of the Prophet of Allah (mappuh), who said:
He who has had his debt transferred to another person should comply with the transfer. *
